My 8+ month old puppy woke me up way too early this morning. What else do you do when you’re up too early and can’t get back to sleep? You surf the Interweb. Upon my aimless surfing – checking email, my usual news sites, Facebook and Twitter – I came across the addition of “webbit” as a new entry to the Addictionary site. Apparently, my very own personal brand and website, webbit, is now a noun. Holy crap, awesome!
Here’s how it’s been defined:
webbit
noun, to put up any information in any media on the web using any social or Web 2.o technology such as a blog, twitter, facebook, etc.
Has anyone else ever had this happen to them? And as far as a definition goes, not bad. Though I could feel dated in the next few years when the whole Web 2.0 fad dies down and something else comes along.

you will be rich, richer than you can possibly imagine. The spoils of this url will feed you, your puppy and wife for at least 25 years.
I have a blog now too: http://jonas0.blogspot.com/
I few folks have commented – “Isn’t this a verb?” I would have to agree, it is definitely defined more as a verb than noun, but hey, I didn’t define it. Although, I’m now going to try to redefine it on the Addictionary site.
